Artistic Anatomy

Saturdays 1:30 - 4:30 pm

8 classes: $295

Instructor:

Eric Lothspeich

Prerequisites:

None

Class Description:

This enhanced studio session is the perfect complement to our figure drawing curriculum. Over the 8-week session artists will gain a better understanding of human anatomy by studying anatomical reference and applying this knowledge by drawing models from life.  Each class will start with a review of a specific part of the body (back, arm, hand, etc.) and then the moderator will set a series of poses that highlight that area.  Students will be asked to keep a sketchbook throughout the session and will be given homework  (optional) and reference materials for each week’s topic.
