Class Description:

This course will teach you the fundamentals of color theory and how to orchestrate color in your own designs. Based in the Josef Albers exercises, you will work with colored paper rather than paint. Over the eight weeks, you will produce a series of formal studies that focus on discrete aspects of color interaction and design.

  • UHU colored glue sticks

  • Smooth black/white mat board, 11 x 14,” 4 ply, 18 sheets

  • Standard #2 writing pencil

  • Kneaded drawing eraser
